Wildwoodz: A Wild & Wonderful Highland Wedding Venue

There’s something pretty magical about getting married in the middle of the woods.

At Wildwoodz, the woodland becomes part of your wedding day, rather than feeling like you’re simply hiring a building and decorating a room, the landscape itself becomes part of the experience.

Imagine walking through the trees towards your ceremony, surrounded by greenery, with the people you love waiting for you. Then afterwards, wandering off together for some photographs amongst the woodland while your guests enjoy the celebrations.

Of course, I’m going to talk about the photographs. I’m a photographer after all!

One of my favourite things about Wildwoodz is the variety of natural backdrops you have without needing to spend half your wedding day travelling somewhere else.

The woodland gives you beautiful, atmospheric photographs, while the changing Scottish light adds something completely different throughout the day.

And because I photograph weddings in a very natural and candid way, I don't want to drag you away from your guests for hours of posed photographs.

Instead, I want you to experience your wedding day.

We'll sneak away for a little bit, explore, have a laugh, and make some beautiful photographs along the way, then get you back to the party.

Some of my favourite wedding photographs aren't the perfectly posed ones anyway.

They're the ones where you can see the wind in someone's hair, someone laughing so hard they can't look at the camera, a stolen kiss when nobody else is watching,those are the photographs that take you straight back.

A little bit wild. A lot of fun.

I think that's what makes Wildwoodz so special.

It doesn't feel overly polished or stuffy. It feels wild, welcoming and full of personality.
